Attack of the Cicada Killers

Last night Troop 712 fought an epic battle against a swarm of Cicada Killers while preparing for dinner. They were attracted to the heat of our propane lanterns. Only two members of troop 712 were stung but dozens of cicada killers paid the ultimate sacrifice

Western Maryland Scenic Railroad

Troop 712 is waiting to board the train for the ride to Frostburg (from Cumberland). After that it will be time for a 25 mile bike ride along the Great Allegheny Passage and C&O Canal. The Weather is spectacular!

08/29/10

The weekend ended with the Scouts returning around 12:30 to the church and we returned everyone that went on the trip. Even though we return with two more scouts than we left with.


Go figure!!! Luckily we did not lose any adults on this trip.

Saturday dinner

Dinner consisted of Beef Stew, Grilled Chicken and corn on the cobb.

Dessert was Monkey Bread and Apple pie
